Bro. Calvin Theodore “Ted” Johnson, 58, of Tompkinsville, KY passed from this life to his eternal home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Monroe County Medical Center after a long illness, with Lea Ann, his wife of 22 years by his side. He was born on September 15, 1965 in Louisville, KY, the first-born child of William Robert and Jean Grider Johnson.
Growing up in Russell County, Ted loved to go fishing. He was a member of The Springs Church in Russell Springs when he heard his call to preach. At the time of his passing, he had ministered for over 28 years, currently serving at the Tompkinsville First United Methodist Church and at Gamaliel United Methodist Church.
Ted had previously worked for H & R Block and as a wastewater tech for the city of Jamestown.

Great-nieces & great-nephews: Kash Burkett, Charleigh Burkett, Haleigh Burkett, Pierce Bagley and Andrew Barnett
