Laura Rene' Holt, 36, of Pensacola, FL died peacefully at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the ICU following a cardiac episode on September 10th. She had dealt with multiple medical issues for many years that culminated in her death.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jamey Antle Holt, and by her grandparents: Richard & Lorena Holt, Byron & Judy McKinley Sizemore, and James Antle.

A host of cousins & other relatives throughout Kentucky and the U.S.
She was born in Orlando, FL and lived in several locations along the East Coast including South Carolina and Connecticut with her father's U.S. Navy career. Laura had resided in Pensacola since 1996. She enjoyed visiting Kentucky at times and staying with relatives and all that those visits offered - on the lake, on a farm, in the woods. Laura volunteered as a teenager making a difference in other children's lives through the YMCA in Pensacola, FL as well as for & with the Elderly via Council on Aging of West Florida in Pensacola. She was nominated for and selected to the National Who's Who in America while in High School.
Memorial Service: Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2pm at Hilton Garden Inn Airport / Medical Center, 1144 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, Florida with a reception following at the hotel. Rev. Brandon Bures, of First United Methodist Church Pensacola, officiating & presenting the eulogy.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory of Pensacola, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside Service: Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11:00amCT at the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery, 3944 Hwy 92, Russell Springs, KY with Laura's aunt and uncle Ronda & Tony Salyer officiating
Family & friends will gather following the service at Esto Country Store & Restaurant lon Hale's Hwy in Russell Springs, KY.
