Anice Vergine “Ann” Harris McGowan, the only living child of the late Grady Cyle Harris and Etta Belle Popplewell Harris, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born February 12, 1939 in Russell County, KY.

Ann was the widow of the late Ewell Gene McGowan.

3 children: Ronnitta Ann Dunham & husband Mike, Rhettlee Cyle “Mack” McGowan & wife Sylvia, and Gene Chadlee McGowan & wife Betty

5 granddaughters: Krista Byrd, Briana Dodd, Jessica Emmick, Katrina McGowan and Kimberlee McGowan

1 grandson: Cody McGowan

2 step-grandsons: Nathan Mayo and Nicolas Mayo

15 great-grandchildren: Brenden, Jacob, Aiden, Addison, Kaelynn, Kade, Kelsey, Willow, Ella, Graham, Benjamin, Westley, Brileigh, Karsyn and Ryder

2 step-great-grandchildren: Thea and Maggie
