The family of James Arlis Sneed, age 81, of Columbia, KY is sad to announce his passing on Monday, November 25, 2024. He was born on April 28, 1943 to the late Cecil and Mildred Sneed in Columbia, KY.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Barbara.

1 daughter: Beckie Kistler (Gene)
2 sons: James Sneed (Lisa Bell) and Tim Sneed (Kelli)
3 grandchildren: Leigh Ann Travis, Summer Sneed-Mueller (Derek), and Casey Sneed
1 great-granddaughter: Karleigh Nole
1 sister: Judy Higginbotham & husband Charles (who was like a brother to him)
Brother-in-law: Larry Richard (Leslie)
3 sisters-in-law: Carolyn Highbaugh, Rachel Stinson (Tim), and Jeannie Richard
Several nieces and nephews
Arlis loved his family and was a proud father and grandfather. He was also a proud member of the UAW and worked for Ford Motor Company’s Louisville Assembly Plant for 40 years. He loved attending church at Impact Shepherdsville.
