Edwin N. Taylor, 81, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the TJ Health Columbia Emergency Room. He was born July 30, 1943 in Adair County to the late Edward and Marie Hamilton Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Taylor Evans.
Edwin was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church, a US Army Veteran and retired as Chief of the Columbia Police Department after 22 years.

2 granddaughters: Emilee Flatt and Ashton Flatt both of Columbia
3 brothers: Orville Taylor of Indiana, Fred Taylor and Sammy Taylor both of Columbia
2 sisters: Rita Partin of Columbia and Jeanette Rucker of Louisville

Graveside Service: Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Jones Chapel Cemetery with Hunter Underwood officiating
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
