Uldine “Auntie” Loy, 96, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at her home. She was born at home in Russell County on August 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Ovis and Audra Antle Holt.
She was a homemaker and simply loved it. Auntie attended Royville Friendship Church for many years; she loved her Jesus, her family and her friends with passion. If you knew her, you would know her greatest joy in life was giving to others; Auntie always gave of herself and if you needed her, she was there. She was never negative, creating a positive influence on all lives she touched. Auntie loved to cook, especially for people she loved. She quilted and crocheted and was a seamstress, sewing on a treadle sewing machine for many years, for herself and others.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Loy; two sisters: Janette Rogers and Arlene Grider; one son, Fred Loy; one nephew, Lucas Holt; four brothers-in-law: Noel Rogers, Winston Grider, Lloyd Thomas and Berry Hamblin; and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Holt.
