David Robin McClain, 57, of Jamestown, KY, formerly of Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Russell County Hospital.  He was born January 26, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Richard and Cathryn Mort McClain. 
 

David was employed at Tyson Foods in Albany. Previously, he worked for many years as a cook in various restaurants, while living in Ohio. David was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and OSU Buckeyes football teams. To his children, he was a great father and will be dearly missed.

1 son: David (and Chelsea) McClain, Jr. of Rushville, Ohio

1 daughter: Crysta Davis (and Cody Acierno) of Rushville, Ohio

1 brother: Richard McClain of Jamestown

3 sisters: Karen Wheat, Dona Dausch, and Tammy Barnett all of Jamestown

3 grandchildren: Adalynn, Leighton, and Zoey

Care and cremation were chosen by the family.
