Regina Bradshaw, 90, a native of Adair County, KY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025 in Moorpark, California. She was born on October 17, 1934 in Glensfork, KY, the eldest child of Pearl and Velmer Kelly.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Regina lived a full and inspiring life. At 16, Regina met the love of her life, Lester Marshall Bradshaw, in Russell County, KY. The high school sweethearts married in 1954, and together built a life centered on family, love, and community. As the years progressed, Regina became an extraordinary mother to four sons and served as the founding President of Bradshaw Construction Corp. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, sharing her love of history and heritage.
While raising her family in Maryland, Regina often returned to Kentucky for summers houseboating on Lake Cumberland, where she created cherished memories with family, friends and loved ones. In later years, she and Lester traveled the world, experiencing new cultures and adventures while building upon their beautiful life together. In retirement, they settled in Oldsmar, Florida where their home became a beloved gathering place for family and friends. Lester and Regina had an incredible 66-year marriage before Lester passed away in October 2019.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Bradshaw; one son, Joe David Bradshaw; two brothers: Donald and Darvin Kelly; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bradshaw.
