John L. Heilers, 74, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was born in Ferdinand, IN on November 18, 1950 to the late Linus and Lucille Boeglin Heilers.
Mr. Heilers was a member of the Adair County Cattlemen’s Association and enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends.

His wife: Rochelle Boland-Heilers of Columbia, KY
2 sons: Ben Heilers (Xing) and Greg Heilers (Fang) both of California
5 grandchildren: Nathan, Sophia, Rebecca, Bruce, and Henry Heilers
2 step-children: Shandra Brakke of Cynthiana, KY and Trevor Boland (Pam) of Winchester, KY
3 step-grandchildren: Connor, Bryce, and James Boland
4 siblings: Tom Heilers (Karen) of Louisville, KY, Fred Heilers and Sue Fergurson of Indiana, and Mary Ellen Copes (Ronnie) of Texas
The family honored Mr. Heiler's wishes with cremation and a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY.
