Carlos Edward “Eddie” Holt, 68, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 25, 1956 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, a son of the late Willie and Daisy Luttrell Holt.
Eddie formerly owned EdCon Gate and managed Liberty Gate for numerous years. He was an avid coon hunter that also loved horses and trading cars.

His spouse of 41 years: Shirley Traylor Holt
1 daughter: Sara (Robert) Luttrell of Russell Springs
2 sons: James Holt and Jacob Holt, both of Russell Springs
8 grandchildren: Skylar, Spencer, Brooklyn, Gabriel, Carter, Elijah, Creed, and Ryder
1 great-grandchild: Jackson
3 brothers: Mark (Teresa) Holt, Bruce (Valerie) Holt, and Larry Holt
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Levi Holt; four brothers: Carson, Eldon, Junior, and Wayne Holt; and a sister, Linda Thomas.
