Melissa Faye Meers, 46, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY. She was born November 7, 1978 in Corydon, IN to the late Melvin Odell and Myrtie Faye Pelston Wooten.
Melissa enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her dogs Lilly and AJ.

Her companion: Danny Junior Lay of Jamestown, KY
3 siblings: Odell Wooten of Columbia, KY, Cynthia Michelle Vannatter of South Carolina and Tina Thurman of Russell Springs, KY
