David C. King, Jr., 12, of Adair County, KY died Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY from injuries received in an automobile accident that occurred on Sunday, April 20, 2025 in Russell County.
David was a 6th Grader at Adair County Middle School where he was in Beginning Band. He will always be known as a “Super Hero” as he was an organ donor.

His mother & step-father: Melissa & Austin Morey of Adair County
2 brothers: Ayden King and Daxton King both of Adair County
3 sisters: Nova Morey, Tempurance Morey, and Octavia Morey all of Adair County
2 step-sisters: Addison King and Ariel King both of Adair County
His maternal grandmother: Ethel Bybee of Columbia
His paternal grandfather: David King of Indiana
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ray Bennett.
Funeral Service: Friday, May 9, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Long officiating
Visitation: After 10:00 A.M. Friday
