Lois Jean Holt, 78 of Science Hill, KY and formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. She was born in Adair County on July 7, 1946, to the late Ores and Mae Grider Bennett.
Mrs. Holt was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include three children Lanny Holt (Lesa) of Science Hill, KY, Latisa Beason (Richard) of Malvern, AR, and Melanie Hayes (Michael) of Benton, KY; seven grandchildren Julia Jackson (Cody), Jonathon Curtis (Christine), Emily Hutchins (Logan), Eli Jackson (Morgan), Mason Holt, Pierce Ransdell, and Maggie Holt; three great grandchildren Silas Hutchins, Emery Hutchins, and Olivia Curtis and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Holt and three siblings: Roxie Arnold, Charles Bennett, and Yvonne Crockett.
Funeral Service: Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: Saturday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
