Leroy McQueary, 74, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at his home. He was born on April 22, 1951 in Eli, a son of the late Curtis and Thelma Tucker McQueary.
Leroy was a truck driver and an auto body repairman by trade. He and his son, Lee, owned and operated Royville Auto Sales for many years. Leroy was a car enthusiast, especially classic cars. He was Somernites Cruise member #607, remaining a faithful attendee from the show’s onset. He loved motorcycles and drag racing, but perhaps his love for ice cream could outdo them all.

2 daughters: Mary Lea Lutz and Annessia McQueary of Russell Springs
2 sons: Lee (Jill) McQueary of Russell Springs and Tim McQueary of Indiana
3 sisters: Glenda (Terry) Hunton of Bowling Green, Linda (Glen) Hines of Somerset, and Audrey (Billy) Badgley of Bowling Green
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren
Along with his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by three brothers: Archie McQueary, Aldon McQueary and Eddie McQueary; and one sister, Gladys Easterling.
