Janet Lee Sewell, 84, of LaGrange, KY passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at The Springs at Oldham Reserve after a long illness. She was born on February 1, 1941 in Adair County, KY to the late W. O. and Fannie Powell Corbin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Corbin and Melba Schlimmer, and two brothers: J.W. Corbin and Kenneth Corbin.
She retired from the Oldham County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff and was of the Christian faith.

2 granddaughters: Summer Sewell of Cincinnati, OH and Casey Ciresi of Madeira Beach, FL
2 great-granddaughters: Alexis and Olivia Borneman
3 great-grandsons: Grayson Greer, Cohen Ciresi, and Torin Ciresi
5 sisters: Reta Moss and Phyllis Minnick of Bardstown, KY, Enola Gifford of Germantown, WI, Elaine Brothers of Scottsdale, AZ and Betty Corbin of Show Low, AZ
