Ola Jean Garner, 88, of Russell Springs, KY passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, on Thursday June 26, 2025. She was born on January 25, 1937 in Eli, KY, the only child of the late Avery Lee and Evie Wilson Harris.
Jean was a former employee of Russell Sportswear and a Dietary Manager for Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, retiring at the age of 76. She was a great cook, enjoyed growing flowers, and gardening. Jean loved her family deeply; they were her “pride and joy.” Her favorite vacation memories were her trips to Canada staying at the Twin Oaks Lodge with her boys. Jean was a faithful member of Coffey’s Chapel Community Church

2 sons: Greg (Sherry) Garner of Versailles and Mike (Debbie) Garner of Lexington
1 daughter: Vicki Roy of Russell Springs
6 grandchildren: Beth Kimbler, Marci Kazsuk, Chad Roy, Karen King, Kaylan Aubrey, and Hunter Garner
15 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Garner; one son, Gary Dean Garner; and a grandson, Jared Garner.

Burial: Union Cemetery

Pallbearers: Jake King, Chad Roy, Hunter Garner, Tyler Kimbler, Alan Roy, and Anthony Richard
