Bro. Kerry Yates, 77, of Columbia, KY passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born on April 3, 1948 in Adair County, KY to the late Bro. James Woodruff “Jim” and Ruby Lonie Bradshaw Yates.
Bro. Yates was the pastor over 48 years at House Up on a Rock Tabernacle Church, worked at IMO Industries for 30 years, construction for 15 years and enjoyed preaching the gospel and spending time with his family and friends.

2 children: Dennis Yates (Meggin) and Felicia VanArsdale (Todd) both of Columbia, KY
4 grandchildren: Erin Brockman (Dustin), Cody Yates (Rylee Beard), Schyler VanArsdale (Caitlyn), and Quinton VanArsdale
1 step-grandchild: Molly Hadley
1 great-granddaughter: Georgia Rose Yates
