James W. Sharp, 91, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was born in Jamestown, KY on August 13, 1933, a son of the late Nina (McFarland) and Walter Sharp.
James was a member of Jamestown Christian Church, served in the U.S. Army, was a retired social worker and an avid U.K. fan.
SURVIVORS:
3 sons: Bill Sharp (Debbie) of Russell Springs, KY, David Sharp (Eddy) of Columbia, KY, and Philip Sharp (Cindy) of Athens, Alabama
8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and another one on the way
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye (Branscum) Sharp and two brothers: William Dudley and Philip Hugh Sharp.

Visitation: Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Friday after 8:00amCT at Jamestown Christian Church
Burial: Jamestown Cemetery
