Vergene “Jean” Sullivan Flanagan, 88, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was born on June 1, 1937 in Eli, a daughter of the late Otsy Elmer and Cardova West Sullivan.
Jean was a retired factory worker, having worked at both Russell Sportswear and Fruit of the Loom. She was a loving mother and a hard worker. When Jean was not working, she would rather be at home, spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Garth Dean Flanagan; her brother, Otis Sullivan; and her sister, Verlene Hammond.
Cremation rites were honored by Bernard Funeral Home.
