Garlin Gadberry, 86, of Fairplay, KY passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was born on April 22, 1939 in Fairplay, KY to the late Beckham and Amanda Harvey Gadberry.
Mr. Gadberry was a member of the Columbia Church of Christ and a retired logger and farmer. He was an avid fisherman and Rook player.

His wife of 66 years: Judy Tabor Gadberry of Fairplay, KY
2 daughters: Charlene Bell (Ronnie) and Faylene Streeval (Mike Ratliff) both of Columbia, KY
3 grandsons: Devin Bell (Kelley), Jesse Streeval, and Cody Streeval
7 great-grandchildren: Pyper, Raylyn, Aliray, Cali, James, Thomas, and Blakelyn
1 sister: Loretta Gadberry of Fairplay, KY
Brother-in-law: Harold Tabor (Liz) of Jamestown, KY
Several nieces, nephews, friends, & other relatives
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Leon, Orville “Dutch”, Forest “Lum”, and Bannard Gadberry and two sisters: Marie Grant and Marjorie Campbell.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Bro. Rickie Williams officiating
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Ronald Gadberry, Danny Bailey, Ricky Prewitt, Pat Elmore, Josh Campbell, and Randall Bell
