Shirley Louise Burton, 82, of Knifley, KY passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born on September 7, 1942 in Green County, KY to the late Welby and Ruby Dobson Warren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Burton.
Mrs. Burton was a member of the Grace Mission Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing, doing crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

4 children: Peggy Burton Clark (companion Jim Pruitt), Rhonda Snider (Doug), Denise Kessinger (Tom), and Kevin Burton (Cheryl) all of Indiana
11 grandchildren: Jason Willhite (Rachel), Logan Clark, Jorydon Clark, Hannah Snider, Dakota Snider, Hunter Snider, Makenzie Stiffler (Keiffer), Bronson Kessinger (Paxton), Brody Kessinger, Ryan Burton, and Chase Burton
5 great-grandchildren: Willow Willhite, Wyatt Willhite, Waylon Willhite, Atticus Stiffler, and Arthur Bennett
2 sisters: Brenda Caldwell and Joan Beavers (Alan) both of Knifley, KY

Funeral Service: Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Bro. Larry Harrah and Bro. Chris Caffey officiating
Burial: Robinson Chapel Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Thursday morning until time for the service
