Jerry Dale Simpson, 73, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born March 1, 1952 in Burkesville, KY to the late Willie E. and Beulah Olene Wright Simpson.
Mr. Simpson professed his faith in Jesus Christ and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a brick layer for many years and enjoyed working around the house and spending time with his family and friends.

His wife: Darlene Frances Davidson Simpson of Columbia, KY
2 children: Julie Brockman (Jon) and William Simpson both of Columbia, KY
6 grandchildren: Jacob Brockman (Lorren), Justin Brockman, Jarrett Brockman, Alyssa Simpson, Bailey Simpson, and Brystol Simpson
1 great-grandson: Emmaus Brockman
3 sisters
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
The family honored Mr. Simpson’s wishes for private services with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
