Zona Pearl Crockett, 75, Cincinnati, Ohio (Russell County Native)

 
Zona Pearl Crockett, 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio (formerly of Russell County), passed from this life on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at CareCore at Lakeridge in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born July 7, 1950, a daughter of the late Glen and Laura Long Stargel.  
 
Pearl was of the Christian faith and always loved attending church.
 
SURVIVORS:
2 sons: Billy (and Jamie) Birdwell of Campbellsville and Daryl Birdwell of Somerset
1 brother: Wayne Stargel of Russell Springs
4 sisters: Joyce Wilson, Royce Smith, and Linda Sneed all of Russell Springs, and Wanda Murray of Columbia
4 grandchildren: Coty Birdwell, Dylan Franklin, Hailey Birdwell, and Kayden Birdwell
2 great-grandchildren: Wyatt Santiago and Kayden Birdwell
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Alpha Stargel, J.D. Stargel, and Gary Stargel.
 
Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 2:30pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Sis. Phyllis Warriner officiating
 
Burial: New Friendship Cemetery
 
Visitation: After 12:30pmCT on Tuesday
 
Pallbearers: Kayden Birdwell, Coty Birdwell, Roger Wilson, Chris Fortenberry, Jonathan Stargel, and Jason Collins
