Leontine “Teen” Grider-Bihr, 92, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at her home. She was born on July 15, 1933 in Russell County, a daughter of the late Ruel and Mary Beck Grider.
Teen was a graduate of seminary college in Cincinnati and a former Sunday School teacher. She attended Russell Springs and Jamestown Christian Church. Teen was a homemaker, who enjoyed traveling at every opportunity. She was also an avid watcher of hummingbirds from her porch.

1 niece: Susan (Jerry) Melton of Russell Springs
2 nephews: Steve (Jan) Brumley and Tyler Brumley, both of Russell Springs
Daughter-in-law: Bonnie Bihr of Florida
1 granddaughter: Dilya Bihr of Florida
Sister-in-law: Wilma Grider of Lexington
Special caregiver: Judy Bell
All of the neighbors on Hopper Street that she considered family
In addition to her parents, Teen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Bihr; two brothers: Joe Bob Grider and Hollis Grider; and a sister, Helen Brumley.
Per Teen’s wishes, cremation rites were honored and no services will be held.
Inurnment will take place at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
Bernard Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
