David Eugene (Gene) Barnett, 87, of Jamestown, KY passed from this life on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Somerset, KY. He was born on May 8, 1938 in Columbia, KY, a son of the late Ben and Josie Barnett.
Gene was retired from Apple Valley Resort, where he was the Resident Manager for 35 years.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Barnett and Leon Barnett, and three sisters: Shirley Gilen, Susie York, and Earlene Richardson.
