James William Stotts, 71, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born September 30, 1953 in Sparksville, KY to the late Bill and Bonnie Sexton Stotts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dewayne (James) Stotts, three brothers: Johnnie, Frankie and Donald Stotts and three sisters: Faye Catlett, Marsha Fudge and Geneva Janes.
James attended White Oak Community Church, was a retired painter/handyman, worked at Osh Kosh B’Gosh for 15 years, enjoyed playing softball, where he was earned the title of the best homerun hitter and was a Non-Denomination Preacher.

Funeral service: Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
Burial: McClister Cemetery
Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Wednesday
