Tenna Shoultz, 72, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. She was born on November 14, 1952 in Uba City, California, a daughter of the late Ray Benzel and Naomi Beck Salisbury.
Tenna was an examiner at Fruit of the Loom and worked there for 25 years. She was later employed at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for 11 years. Tenna enjoyed reading books, traveling, and she treated everyone she met like she was their “Nana.”

1 brother: Ed (and Cindy) Benzel of Washington
3 sisters: Patsy (and Bill) Richards and Judy (and Larry) Hoagland, both of Oregon; and Sharron Boger (and Richard) of Missouri
6 grandchildren: Jessica Lawhorn, Marcus Holt, Skylar Shoultz (and Lacey Day), Devin Shoultz, Grayson Pennington, and Connor Pennington
8 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Franklin Shoultz, and a daughter, Christina Holt.
Visitation: Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 10:00am-12:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home. No service will follow.
