William Michael “Blue” Downs, 77, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Columbia. He was born December 13, 1947 in Somerset, KY to the late William Bert “Bill” and Margaret Watson Downs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Bennett Downs, and a son, Josh Downs.
Michael was a member of Egypt Christian Church, was formerly a barber at Harris Barber Shop, and retired after 20+ years at Fruit of the Loom. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and watching his grandchildren play ball.
