Danny Kay Bottoms, 76, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1949 to the late Chester and Della Moss Bottoms.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Corbin Bottoms; one brother, Larry Bottoms; a step-daughter, Beverly; and two great-nephews: Jeff Little and Sean Bottoms.
Danny began his career with the Kentucky Department of Corrections as an officer at the Kentucky State Reformatory. He promoted through the ranks and retired as a Captain at Northpoint Training Center. Danny was a member of Knifley Christian Church.
