Barbara Ann Collins, 60, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her home in Kentucky. She was born on August 22, 1965 in Lowville, NY to Marian Vandenberg and James Harold Hance.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Tony Collins on January 4, 2024; two brothers: Jim Hance and Peter Hance; a niece, Carrie McClintock; three nephews: Michael Foster, Jason McClintock and Brian Egnaczyk; and her mother-in-law, Ms. Mamie Louise Collins.

3 children: Sophia Tebo(Chris) of Lowville, Derrick Garnsey, and Stephen Krug
3 step-children:. Elisha Collins, Eric Collins(Kimberly) and Natasha Reeves(Durand)
Several grandchildren
3 sisters: Lorraine Luebbert(Darrell), Patricia Hance, Margaret Hance(Ken McClintock)
1 brother: Paul Hance

In 1993 she was united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to Harold Krug.
Later in life she moved to Lexington, KY where she met Tony Collins who she loved dearly and united in marriage on March 17, 2023.
She worked at Speaks Marathon gas station in Lexington, KY for a few years and enjoyed bringing smiles and laughter to all the customers she met.
There will be a graveside service later in the week for family and friends at the home of Margaret Hance in Knifley, KY where she will be laid to rest.
