Mason Stanley “Mickey” Smith, Jr, 71, of Columbia, KY died Friday, October 31, 2025 at the U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born November 29, 1953 in Ogden, Utah, a son of the late Mason Stanley Smith, Sr. and Deloris Hare Braswell.

Mickey was a US Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.

1 daughter: Carmela Smith of Gastonia, North Carolina

1 son: James Dalton Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado

1 sister: Marcella Hodges of Columbia

2 brothers: Michael Smith (Debbie) of Wilkesboro, North Carolina and Mitchell Smith (Cindy) of Ferguson, North Carolina

Cremation has been chosen and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date
