Jewell Wade Dotson, 71, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at T.J. Health Columbia. He was born on May 25, 1954 in Campbellsville, KY to the late John Raymon and Nancy Ellen Price Dotson.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Gail Chrisman Dotson; a daughter, Rachel Gail Dotson; a granddaughter, Tasha LaShay Bryant; and several siblings.
Mr. Dotson was of the Christian faith and enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and his dog “Whiskey”.

5 children: Ruby Janes (Mark) of Columbia, KY, Jewell Lee Dotson (Linda) of Greensburg, KY, Randall Lee Dotson, Amy Curry (Schyler), and Kenny Jewell Dotson (Autumn) all of Edmonton, KY
12 grandchildren: Dusty, Jacob, Lucas, Gloria, Austin, Blake, Tristan, Trace, Landen, Ashton, Bridgett, Brooklyn, and Brandon
4 great-grandchildren: Gavin, Emerson, Opal, and Sable
1 sister: Mary Reed of Campbellsville, KY

Funeral Service: Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Coffrey officiating
Burial: Milltown Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Thursday until time for the service
Pallbearers: Chris Belcher, Junior Harris, Donnie Chamberlain, Jason Bennett, James Gray, and Jason Dotson
Honorary pallbearer: David Chrisman
