Jewel E. Harmon, 97, of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 30, 1928 in Hamilton County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charlie E. Foster and Maude (Simpson) Burton.
She married Ervin W. Harmon on May 6, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 20, 2005.
Jewel retired from Franklin Nursing Home in Franklin, Indiana. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and going for rides.

2 sons: Clifton Wesley Harmon of Shelbyville, Indiana and Clinton Winfrey “Bulldog” Harmon of Edinburgh, Indiana
12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren
2 sisters: Freeda Black of Columbus, Indiana and Lois Burton of Byrdstown, Tennessee
1 half-sister: Martha (Paul) Wheat of Edinburgh, Indiana
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons: Clayton W. Harmon and Clement W. Harmon; a grandson, Winfrey Harmon; a granddaughter, Shirley Ann Harmon; one great-grandson, Christopher Harmon; one brother, Willie Foster; step-brothers, James H. Burton and Bobby Ray Burton, sisters, Versie Streeval, Dennie Bryant, Leona Hadley, Mayme Stapleton, and Mae Smith, and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Harmon.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1:00pmET at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, IN with Reverend Ralph Foster officiating
Visitation: Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pmET
Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh
