Nedra Mae Francis, 62, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was born on January 29, 1963 in Jamestown, KY, the youngest child of the late Otha and Elizabeth Cole Byrd.
Nedra worked formerly as a sewing machine operator at Fruit of the Loom and then went on to obtain an associate’s degree in early childhood education. She enjoyed growing flowers and loved spending time with her family playing card games and watching movies. Nedra attended Jennies Chapel Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie Francis; a brother, Jerry Overstreet; and a sister, Dorothy Byrd.
