JB Satterwhite, affectionately called “Pops”, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Russell County Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1954 at Kings Daughters Hospital in Frankfort, KY, the son of the late JB and Elizabeth Satterwhite.
JB was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who truly lived for his family. He was a proud Christian and a member of Farmdale Christian Church. He was married to his loving wife, Naomi Satterwhite, and together they built a family full of love and memories. JB was retired from the Frankfort Sewer Department where he was known as a dependable, hard- working man. He truly embraced life – whether it was fishing, golfing, spending time on the lake or being surrounded by his family. Those were the times he loved the most. JB was funny, outgoing, and always the mediator, always the calm in the middle of any storm. To his family, he wasn’t just “Pops”, he was their “Superman” who was always there, always steady and always strong. JB’s legacy lives on in the stories told, the laughter shared, and the deep love he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and his memory forever cherished.
