James Allen “Jimmy” Wethington, 68, of Columbia, KY (formerly of Clementsville), the son of the late James Harold “Jim Duck” and Patricia Sue (Fisher) Wethington, was born September 12, 1957 in Missouri and departed this life on Monday, January 5, 2026 in Danville, KY at the Select Specialty Hospital.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and attended the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Clementsville. Jimmy was a handyman and loved technology.

3 children: Cory, Cris and Casey
2 step-children: Jennifer and Emily
His former spouse: Erlinda Ordonez Wethington
3 sisters & 2 brothers: Mary Ann, Tom, John, Anna Marie and Peggy and Jason
His fiancé of 15 years: Paulette Susan Pittman
5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alicia May.
To honor the request of Jimmy, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Bernard Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
