Albert Grider, 94, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. He was born March 20, 1931 in Cumberland County, KY, a son of the late Homer and Ettie Lee Davidson Grider.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Yule Grider, Vernon Grider, James Grider, Shell Grider, J.B. Grider, and Allen Willam Grider; two sisters: Kathleen Kearns and Louise Brummett; and the following brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Grider, Mary Elizabeth Grider, Nadine Grider, Johnny Kearns, Randy Gibson, Porter McCoy and Bobby Brummett.
Mr. Grider was a member of Amandaville Christian Church in Bakerton, where he led singing, taught Sunday School and did whatever he could for the church. He was a retired carpenter and cabinet maker; and enjoyed his garden and fishing.

4 great-grandchildren: Myla, Jameson, Truett and Bennett
Bonus grandchildren: Adam Montgomery and Callie Smith
1 brother: Jessie Grider (Brenda) of Burkesville
2 sisters: Dottie Gibson of Amandaville and Margaret “Cricket” McCoy of Burkesville
