Rex Allen Eastham, 74, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Jean Waddle Care Center, in Somerset. He was born on July 31, 1951 in Russell County, a son of the late Grace Whittle Eastham and Kirby Eastham.
Rex was a farmer and formerly employed at General Electric, Tecumseh, and worked at Popplewell’s Alligator Boat Dock for 18 years. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. Rex was a “people person”, loved to engage with others, and was the type of person that never met a stranger. His presence will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

1 son: Jason Eastham of Russell Springs
2 daughters: Amy Eastham and Amber (and Brian) Grippe, both of Russell Springs
3 sisters: Gayla Sue Kerr of Russell Springs, Treva (and Roger) Meirose of Ohio, and Tina Milliner of Bowling Green
4 grandchildren: David Eastham, Jr., Dakota Eastham, Madison Snow, Maxton Grippe, and one on the way;
1 great-grandchild: Jayden Martin

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, David Eastham; and a sister, Phyllis Holder.

Burial: Sunshine at Pine Grove Cemetery
Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 15, and will resume at 7:30 AM on Friday
Pallbearers: Jason Eastham, Jayden Martin, Rodney Eastham, Kyle Hall, Roger Meirose, and Wesley Davis
