Lois Raydean Burton, 90, of Columbus, IN passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 in Columbus, IN. She was born on May 15, 1935 in Columbia, KY to the late Charlie Buford and Maude Ella Simpson Foster.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Burton.
While living in Tennessee, Mrs. Burton and her husband attended the Willow Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed attending many church functions. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting and camping with her husband. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and friends.

4 children: Ella Rothrock (Jerry), Wanda Israel (Max), and Ricky Burton all of Columbus, IN and Eddie Burton (Diane) of Byrdstown, TN
8 grandchildren: Jarrod Rothrock, Stacy Kirk, Leslie Watkins (Bo), Nakkai Scroghan (Steve), Rodney Burton (Robin), Derrick Burton, Christopher Burton and Curtis Burton
19 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren
1 sister: Fredia Black of Hope, IN
Half-sister: Martha Wheat (Paul) of Edinburgh, IN
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Willie Foster, Versie Streeval and Jewell Harmon, and two half-sisters: Deannie Bryant and Leoma Hadley.

Burial: Bearwallow Cemetery
