Doug VanAlstyne, 52, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, February 6th, 2026 at his home. He was born in Albany, NY on August 24, 1973, a son of the late Eliza (Montville) VonEtten and Robert VanAlstyne, Sr.
Doug worked as a body finisher on cars and loved to play music.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Robert VanAlstyne, Jr. and Joey Mitchell, and by two sisters: Elizabeth VanAlstyne and Carol Mitchell.
Visitation: Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pmCT with cremation to follow.
