David Quirin, III, 72, Columbia, KY

 

David Quirin, III, 72, of Columbia, KY passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at T.J. Health Columbia. Born on October 18, 1953 in San Bernardino, California, he was a son of the late David Quirin, Jr. and Esther Szabo Quirin.

 

David established a life filled with love, dedication, and a strong sense of community. A proud veteran of the United States Army, David's commitment to his country was a reflection of his values and a testament to his character. He pursued a fulfilling career as a carpenter, where his skill and craftsmanship shone brightly, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

 

David was deeply rooted in his Christian faith, which guided him through life's many ups and downs. He cherished his time with loved ones and engaged in activities that brought him joy. Whether it was boating on local waters, watching classic old westerns, or visiting the casino, David remained an active participant in life, always staying busy with various projects and endeavors. His adventurous spirit, combined with his love for family, created countless cherished memories with those around him.

 

SURVIVORS:

His loving wife: Theresa Roper Quirin

2 children: Ryan Quirin (Tomblyn) of Louisville, KY and Lori Dean (Sam) of Las Vegas, Nevada

3 grandchildren: Kaedin Quirin, Kolten Quirin, and Quinn Dean

5 siblings: Rodney Quirin, Patsy Svete, Sheryl Cade, Carol McDowell, and Donna Hess

Several nieces & nephews

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Quirin, Jr. and Esther Szabo Quirin, as well as six siblings, all of whom play an integral part in his early life and served as foundations for the man he became.

 

In honoring Mr. Quirin’s wishes cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at the time.

 

As we remember David Quirin, III, we celebrate a life well-lived. His legacy of love, faith, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to inspire all who were touched by his unwavering kindness and strength.
