Lowell Dean Pelston, 76, of Columbia, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY. He was born on March 30, 1949 in Breeding, KY.
Lowell was a devoted family man and a respected member of his community. For many years, Lowell had a fulfilling career as a machinist at IMO, where he was well-regarded for his expertise and dedication. He lived his life with a passion for tinkering, especially enjoying the challenge of working on and restoring old cars. His garage was a sanctuary where he found joy in every project, and his love for automobiles was matched only by his love for his family and friends.
He attended the Antioch Church; Lowell was known for his warm spirit and generous heart. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew him. As a husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he played a pivotal role in the lives of many, offering guidance, love, and unwavering support.

Funeral service: 1:00pmCT on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Pelston officiating
Visitation: Thursday after 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial: A private burial will follow the funeral service at Antioch Cemetery
Pallbearers: Brent, Bradley and Bart Pelston, Chad Price, Jerry Giles, and Dean Bomar
