Mildred Lawson, 87, Russell Springs, KY

 

Mildred Lawson, 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1939 in Russell County, KY, a daughter of the late Lucretia Stephens Eads and Chester L. Eads.

 

Mildred worked at Firestone, Lear Siegler, and retired from the Russell County Public Library. She was a member of Salem United Baptist Church and enjoyed working on her small farm and being outside.

SURVIVORS:
2 sisters: Illene Foley of Indianapolis, IN and Charlene Foley (Eddy) of Louisville, KY

1 brother: Glen Eads (Imelda) of Russell Springs, KY

Sister-in-law: Kay Lawson

Several nieces and nephews

 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Russell Eads, Jerry Eads and David Eads.

 

The family would like to thank her caregivers: Tricia Malpica and Diane Hainey for taking such good care of her. Also, thank you to sister-in-law, Kay Lawson, for stepping up to be there for her for whatever she needed or wanted.

Funeral Service: Friday, February 20, 2026 at 1:00pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Ben Hammond officiating
 
Interment: Salem Cemetery, Hwy 910, Russell Springs, KY

 

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Friday at Wilson Funeral Home
