Roger Blake Pickett, 86, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born on July 4, 1939 in Columbia, KY to the late Columbus and Hazel (Blakeman) Pickett.
Roger was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church of Shepherdsville for 59 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of faithful service. Roger was skilled in woodworking and could make anything out of wood just by looking at a picture. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren are what Roger held most dear to his heart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce (Moore) Pickett; a sister, Shirley Henley (Richard) and two brothers: Doyle Wayne Pickett and Ronnie Pickett (Judy).

3 grandchildren: Chloe Pickett (Tyler), Blake Laytham (Rachel) and Bailey Bradley (Levi)
2 great-grandchildren: Easton Bradley and Carter-Jo Bradley
1 brother: Gayle Pickett (Sue Todd)
2 sisters-in-law: Marjorie Pickett and Pat Reliford (Pete)
