Marla Sue Skaggs, 72, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. She was born on October 21, 1953 in Arkansas, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Conley Jones.
Marla was a former employee of Fruit of the loom. She was an avid sewer and quilter. Marla loved her children and grandchildren and cherished every minute she got to spend with them.

2 sons: Ed Shepherd and Bobby Shepherd (& Linda), both of Russell Springs
4 grandchildren: Bethany Stamm of Nebraska, Alex Snider of Indiana, Danielle Shepherd of Russell Springs, and Caleb Couch of Indiana
6 great-grandchildren
1 brother: Frankie Jones (& Mary) of Missouri
1 sister: Fonda Landon (& Marty) of Indiana
