Bobby Wayne Wooten, 53, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born July 3, 1972, in Albany, KY, a son of the late Emanuel and Dollie Jones Wooten.
He was a carpenter by trade and had worked for many years on construction of commercial buildings. His favorite hobby was working on old cars and entering demolition derbies. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and was the kind of person who enjoyed making other people laugh.

A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Russell, and a brother-in-law, Ernie Russell.

Burial: Ridge Crest Cemetery
Visitation: After 9:00 AM on Monday
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to offset the cost of the funeral expenses.
