John Daniel Haley, 78, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was born April 20, 1948 in Auburn, New York
John moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1965 and attended Northmont High School where he met Joann. He attended the University of Cincinnati where he received an Engineering degree, was a Professional Engineer, Surveyor, and manager principal of LJB Engineering employed by Keller Foundations.
John retired in Jamestown, KY in 2008 and worked on the Wolf Creek Dam project for 6 years. He attended Russell Springs First Baptist Church. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and an avid boater who loved Lake Cumberland.

His wife of 56 years: Joann (Sexton) Haley of Jamestown, KY
1 son: John D. Haley, Jr. (Lauren) of Ft. Mitchell, KY
2 grandchildren: Johnny and Emma Haley
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea Stuart.
Memorial Service: Friday, May 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Dr. Christian Naylor officiating
Visitation: After 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home
