Joshua David Harden, 44, of Columbia, KY passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Columbia. He was born on September 29, 1981 in Campbellsville, KY, a son of David and Margaret Smith Harden of Columbia, KY.
Joshua was a devoted family man, a dedicated professional, and a passionate outdoorsman whose presence touched many lives in his community and beyond. A 1999 graduate of Adair County High School, Joshua's commitment to service extended beyond his civilian career. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, exemplifying honor and dedication.
Joshua's professional life was marked by a steadfast commitment to the people of Kentucky. Beginning his career as an insurance agent for Kentucky Farm Bureau in 2008, he quickly established himself as a trusted advisor. In 2013, he was appointed as the Agency Manager for the Kentucky Farm Bureau Barren County Agency, a position he held with distinction until 2024. Under his leadership, the agency flourished, reflecting his dedication to both his work and his community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Joshua attended Kellyville Community Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding joy in the natural world and in sharing these passions with his loved ones. He especially treasured hunting trips to Alaska, where he engaged in bear hunting alongside his children—a testament to his love of family and the outdoors. He also took great pleasure in taking youth hunting, offering young people meaningful experiences in nature.
His proudest accomplishments included serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Cumberland Family Medical, contributing to the betterment of healthcare services in the community. He also sponsored numerous Barren County Little League sports and the Barren County Boys and Girls Club. Joshua's family was central to his life.

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 6097
Visitation: Sunday from 3:00pm-8:00pmCT and Monday morning until time for the service
