Orene G. Tucker, 90, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at her home. She was born in Jamestown, KY on July 10, 1935, a daughter of the late Edith Pearl (McFall) and Julian R. McWhorter.
SURVIVORS:
1 daughter: Teresa Carroll (Jerry) of Columbia, KY
1 son: Jamie Tucker (Mindy) of Louisville, KY
3 grandchildren: Benjamin Harrison(Manuela), Joshua Tucker(Bryanna), and Abigail Castor(Josh)
7 great-grandchildren: Zelda, Tetra, Dune, Isaiah, Elijah, Judah and Selah
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Jean Halsell, Lucy Helm and Margaret McGaha; and two brothers: Glenn McWhorter and J.R. McWhorter.
A private graveside service was held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 with burial in the Bethel Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.
