Barbara Ann Cowan Jones, 75 of Columbia, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born on August 11, 1950 in Columbia, KY to the late Elvin and Mamie Burton Cowan.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Jones; her child, Jerri Lynn Jones; and five siblings: Daryl Lynn Cowan, Ricky Cowan, Faye Stotts, Michael Cowan, and Dale Cowan.
Throughout her life, Barbara embodied compassion, resilience, and kindness. Her home was often the gathering place for celebrations, holidays, and quiet family moments. These traditions and her gentle ways will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Burial: Mt. Carmel Cemetery
Visitation: Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Friday morning until time for the service
